College Preparation:
The top three values from the list that they gave us for our Post High School experience were Academic Programs and Atmosphere, Sports, Extra-Curricular Activities. I thought these were the most important for my college career because the first thing that I will choose if I want to go to that college that has the right courses that I'm looking for for my long-term career after college. And after that I would choose the college that has the sports teams that I want to go on to which includes hockey teams. So the last value that I chose was because I just want to use my college career as a learning experience.
What I am thinking that the best fit college or university for me would would have curricular that supports the career that I want to go into post-college. Also has the sports that I want to attend at that College.
Callings Readings:
One thing that I learned in reading these articles is that you should go into a job that you want to go into. Instead of going into a profession just because of the money. Another thing that I learned is that there is sometimes more to the story than you might think. This taught me that you should go into a profession that you want to go into even if that doesn't make you a lot of money.
A take away that i got from this is that when you are thinking long term do something that you know that you will love. Instead of something that you know that you will hate but you are just there for the money. But if it's a short term job, yes it is practical to do something that you will like but it doesn't matter that much because you won't be there for that long.
Transcripts:
As of right now my college and career goals are to go to a college that has academic and extracurricular activities that I am interested in. and something that would help me in my future careers.
The choices that I make in high school to help me better align my future goals would have to be to keep a GPA high enough so I can get scholarships. And to work on the skills that I need to help me excel in College like taking good notes, taking skills or standardized testing skills.
YouScience:
Something that I learned from your science is that I am not an extrovert. I'm more of an introvert in the sense that I don't like to talk to people that don't know. Another thing is that I learned that I am a specialist in which if I like something I will try to be the best at that thing.
The knowledge that I learned from the year science quizzes is that I should try to focus on one to two careers that I want to do in my future. instead of one career that is focused on multiple things.
